PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct acting actuator with a housing structure in which its sealing performance is secured, and the visual inspection of its sealing portion can be easily carried out after product completion.SOLUTION: In a direct acting actuator 10, a main housing 11A and a secondary housing 11B are joined at mating faces 110A, 110B thereof sealed with a liquid gasket G. In the mating faces 110A, 110B, a plurality of recessed grooves 111, 112, 113 surrounding the mating faces 110A, 110B are each provided in the central part of the mating faces, in the inner peripheral part on the inner side of the central part, and in the outer peripheral part on the outer side of the central part and visible from the outer circumference of the housing so that the applied liquid gasket G is held therein. The secondary housing 11B is provided with a breather 18. On the outer peripheral side of the breather 18, a protective wall 120 is provided which is integrally formed with the housing 11B having the breather 18, and protrudes to cover the circumference of the breather 18. |
