PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container processing technology having a simple constitution and easy for miniaturization.SOLUTION: A container processing apparatus includes a conveying mechanism 5 for conveying a container in a transverse direction, and an image forming device 7 for printing information on an information display region DR on a side surface of a container 2 which is under conveyance by the conveying mechanism 5. The image forming device 7 includes a print head 7A in which a plurality of pixel forming elements in the vertical direction, and a range selection part 53 (a print height changing means) for changing the height of the pixel forming elements to be used for printing the information. The container processing apparatus further includes a height determination means 6 for discriminating the height information of the information display region DR of the container 2 during the conveyance by the conveying mechanism 5 on the upstream side of the image forming device 7, and a control device 50 for controlling the range selection part 53 based on the height information obtained by the height determination means 6. |
