PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket cooling apparatus capable of cooling a gasket of a hatch of a reactor container by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A cooling cover 40B surrounding an outer periphery of a hatch fastening mechanism 11 of an outward-opening hatch 3 and an outer surface of a dome part 3a of the hatch 3 is detachably attached to a cooling cover fixing flange 21A formed on an outer peripheral surface of a hatch barrel 10. Thereby, the cooling cover 40B is constituted as an integrated object obtained by welding an annular plate-shaped cooling cover flange part 41 to a cylindrical part 42B. In the cooling cover 40B, cooling water is allowed to flow into a cooling water circulation space 30 through an inlet pipe 31 and an outlet pipe 32 so that gaskets 13, 13 of the hatch 3 can be cooled. |
