A sheet for thermal molding use, which comprises a polylactic acid resin composition comprising a polylactic acid resin, a plasticizer and a crystal nucleating agent and has a thickness of 0.1 to 1.5 mm, wherein the value (Re(cal)) that is calculated in accordance with formula (A) falls within the range represented by the formula: 0.001 × 10-3 <= Re(cal) <= 1 × 10-3. Re(cal) = Re(obs)/d × 10-6 (A) [In the formula, Re(obs) represents a phase difference (nm) as measured at a wavelength selected from wavelengths of 380 to 780 nm; and d represents the thickness (mm) of the sheet.] The sheet for thermal molding use according to the present invention has a wide moldable temperature range, and therefore can be used suitably for various use applications including food containers, packaging materials for articles for daily use or home electric appliances and trays for industrial parts. |
