PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a machine tool having a high machining accuracy.SOLUTION: There is provided a machine tool 100 for machining a workpiece 10, which includes: temperature sensors 8, 9 that can measure the temperature at two or more parts of the machine tool; a thermal displacement calculation means 12 for calculating a thermal displacement caused by heat of the machine tool on the basis of values measured by the temperature sensors at two or more different time points; and a control means 13 for correcting the relative positions of the workpiece and the machine tool with upper-limited absolute values, based on the thermal displacement, during the machining time for machining the workpiece. |
