PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the total number of pages of text data to be displayed, and display each page in a layout corresponding to the calculated total number of pages.SOLUTION: The information display device comprises: a display part that displays text data for each page; a storage part that stores display setting information including a display condition; a number-of-pages calculation part that calculates the total number of pages of text data on the basis of a display condition; a layout process part that generates a layout of text belonging to a page to be display on a display screen; and a control part that divides text data having the calculated number of pages into each page, reads the text belonging to the page to be displayed on the display screen as display data, causes the layout process part to generate a layout in consideration to a character arrangement of each line of the read display data, adjusts the character arrangement of each line such that the read display data is settled in the display screen and causes the display part to display the text belonging to the page. |
