PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that, when performing multi-pass printing using pigmented ink and an image enhancing liquid for adjusting image glossiness can output a high-quality image in which gloss unevenness caused by the displacement of the recording position cannot be noticed.SOLUTION: Dot arrangement data are generated based on input image data so that the dot arrangement of an image enhancing liquid includes a greater low-frequency component in a spatial frequency than the dot arrangement of colored ink on a recording medium. As a result, it is possible to suppress gloss unevenness even if printing position displacement occurs while suitably suppressing a feeling of graininess in colored ink. |
