PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which efficiently supplies power to an information processor in a data center or the like, detecting the degradation of a battery from a multilateral stand point.SOLUTION: The output power of an AC/DC converter 1 is supplied to a DC voltage converter. In order to supply the output power of the DC voltage converter and an AC/DC converter 2 to a load, the DC voltage converter and the AC/DC converter 2 are connected in parallel through a rectifier element 1. The power of secondary battery group can be supplied to the input of the DC voltage converter through a rectifier element 2. The secondary battery group can be charged to the output potential of the AC/DC converter 1 with a charger. The degradation of a secondary battery can be detected with means for detecting the degradation of the secondary battery.
