<p>An extract is described from the plant Filipendula ulmaria optionally containing Epilobium angustifolium, to reduce the weight or to prevent a weight increase of a mammal, including a human. The extract also reduces blood pressure and can be used to prevent and treat hypertension. The extract has also effects on secondary diseases such as lifestyle and stress diseases, depressions, muscular pains, skeletal pains, diabetes (in particular diabetes type II), heart and circulation disorders, fertility disorders, concentration and attention deficit disorders and fatty degeneration. Especially described are pain-relieving effects.</p> |
