PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine which can control unnecessary output deterioration through accumulation in a static pressure chamber when the gas lubrication of a piston is executed by accumulating the pressure of an operating space or a buffer space in a static pressure chamber and introducing gas into the piston from the static pressure chamber.SOLUTION: A Stirling engine 10 includes pistons 21, 31 which introduce gas thereto and injects the introduced gas between corresponding cylinders 22, 32, communication parts 62b, 62c which make a buffer space B communicate with a static pressure chamber R, and valves 81, 82 which can control an inflow of gas into the static pressure chamber R and an outflow of gas from the static pressure chamber R through the communication parts 62b, 62c. The communication parts 62b, 62c and the valves 81, 82 are provided at the buffer spaces B1, B2, respectively. |
