The safety device (5) has five inputs for an emergency stop button and a start button for the secure stop and start of an electrical load. Two monitored outputs (1,2) and two inputs (3,4) form a ring circuit of several similar devices. The cut-off of one device initiates the shutdown of all devices in the ring, and the activation of safety outputs of all components allows only start command on one of the devices involved in the ring, only if all start conditions are met by all apparatuses, while the stop button is unlocked and there are no other errors.
