<p>An image formation device (100) which inserts a divider sheet between ejected recording sheets, comprises: an image formation unit (122) for forming an image on a recording sheet; an operation unit (130) for designating an insertion position at which the divider sheet is inserted; an ejection unit for ejecting the recording sheet with an image formed thereon and the divider sheet; and a control unit (102) for controlling the timing of inserting the divider sheet. The insertion position is designated by the number of copies of recording sheets, each of which has formed thereon all of the images included in a job that directs the image formation on a set of the recording sheets. The control unit (102) controls the ejection unit so that the ejection unit ejects the divider sheet from the insertion position after ejecting a determined number of copies of the recording sheets having images formed thereon. Thereby, the image formation device can insert the divider sheet at any position designated by the number of copies and thus allows a user more convenient handling of the ejected recording sheets.</p> |
