PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary differential screw type rotation-linear motion converting mechanism free from durability issues and easy of oil seal, and to provide an actuator equipped therewith. SOLUTION: A nut 10 is sealed at its rear-side end with a rear collar 18 to eliminate the need for considering oil seal on the end side. Therefore, it can be sealed only at the front-side end with an oil seal 24 arranged there, thus actualizing easy oil seal. Two inner faces 16d, 18a of the nut 10 for restricting the axial movement region of a sun shaft 12 are both set on the nut 10 formed of a highly rigid material, and there is no need to set an abutting face on a housing 4 storing the rotation-linear motion converting mechanism 6 restricting the axial movement region of the sun shaft 12.
