The present invention relates to a hinge type external glass supporting bolt which improves the stress of a sheet of external glass on a portion where the supporting bolt is coupled by configuring the supporting bolt installed on a joint portion of sheets of the external glass for supporting the sheets of the external glass forming an exterior wall of a building into a hinge type; and prevents damage of the sheets of the external glass caused by the stress. To achieve the same, the present invention, the external glass supporting bolt (10) includes a head unit (10) of an H-shaped cross sectional structure for fixing the sheets of the external glass on both sides which are in contact with each other; a hinge shaft (20) which is connected to the head unit (10) to be rotated at an angle of a predetermined range; and connecting frames (30, 30') connecting the hinge shaft (20) with a supporting rod (40) fixed to an indoor side.
