<p>A folding mechanism for a hopper flare, the mechanism comprising a linkage mechanism having a first track 38 provided on a first support 23, a second track 40 provided on a second support 25, the first 23 and second 25 supports being pivotally connected about pivot P and a link 42 coupled to both the first 38 and second 40 tracks. The link 42 is capable of riding simultaneously along each of the first 38 and second 40 tracks as the second support 25 pivots about the pivot axis P. The first track 38 includes a locking track segment 62 having a bearing surface oriented to resist, by engagement with the link 42, movement of the second support 25 about the pivot axis P in at least one direction.</p> |
