Use of line, cord, band and twine, natural or synthetic, is a versatile way to link, bundle and bind. The invention simplifies the use of line materials like these by offering a simple coupling system. It is strong and it offers a way to quickly and easily link, tension, release and reconnect line. A common way to connect line is knotting. Knots have the advantage that no objects are needed, but knowledge and skill is required to knot in reliable way. Detaching and tensioning of knotted connections can be difficult. To connect the end of the line must be free in most cases. With the invented coupling device the line can be coupled by drawing the line on any place in a lateral direction into a small coupling device. It will be linked by a self-gripping system, ready to be used. |
