THE SEDUM EXTRACT COMPOSITION WITH ANTIMICROBIAL TO PLANT PATHOGENIC BACTERIA

The present invention relates to a composition having a function of antibacterial activity in a plant pathogenic bacterium extracted from Sedum takesimense. The composition having a function of antibacterial activity relates to an antibacterial activity composition extracted from Sedum takesimense which is obtained by: drying Sedum takesimense at a temperature of 70~90; extracting with methanol having 5-12 times the weight of the Sedum takesimense for 15-30 hours at a room temperature; and concentrating filtrate filtered by filter paper under reduced pressure. The plant pathogenic bacterium of the present invention is characterized by bieng Ralstonia solanacearum which causes wilt on tomatoes. The Ralstonia solanacearum is known as a plant pathogenic bacterium causing wilt on tomatoes, and therefore, the Sedum takesimense extract of the present invention has remarkably valid biological prevention effect on tomato wilt. The main purpose of the present invention is to extract plant extracts from plant material for preventing plant pathogenic bacteria like tomato wilt environmentally friendly. Since antibacterial active ingredients extracted from plants are biodegradable, the ingredients are less harmful to the body than synthetic pesticides and do not cause environmental contamination as well as have weak characteristics as phytotoxin.
