<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The holder has a rear bearing wall for cutting plates (2A,2B) designed as an elastically held web (22) in a tool base body, which has an insert seat for direct fastening of cutting plates. An expanding slot (26) is incorporated in a tool base body (14) such that the web is connected to a rest of the body on a fastening side. An adjusting screw for fine adjustment is screwed into the slot. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for holding a tool e.g. cutting rotary tool such as drill or cutter, counter boring tool, reamer and turning off tool. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The tool base body has the insert seat for direct fastening of the cutting plates, hence the mechanism has a compact construction. The expanding slot is incorporated in the tool parent body such that the web is connected to a rest of the body on the fastening side, hence the mechanism has high stability, and thus enabling a fine adjustment of the radial position of the cutting tips in the tool.
