Novelty: surgical tool for drilling holes of standardized diameter for the reception of standardized plugs sealing surfaces having through openings. Constitution: the tool (1) configurating the hole (4) on the periphery of the through opening of the surface (2), which hole is suited for the reception of a standardized high-accuracy plug; the cylindrical body (6) having the shaft (8) adaptable to a rotarymotion- supplying means; the cutting head (8a) provided with peripheral triangular indents and the guiding head (10) firmly mounted on the mouth of the opening (17) of the cutting head (8a); Drilling process: for the configuration of the hole (4) the user proceeds in inserting, first, the cylindrical section (10a) of the guiding head (10) into the through opening (3); the tool (1) will be, thus, aligned and stabilized (1) and the cylindrical body (6) rotating so that the cutting head (8a) -which is inserted inside the opening (3)- can configurate the plug-receiving hole (4) in a depth defined by the projecting length ofthe cutting head (8a), and by the peripheral ring (7) positioned at the circumference of the body (6).
