<p>The method involves decomposing a broadband signal (A) into a signal having a bandwidth corresponding to that of a narrow-band signal (B) in a communication network, and another signal having a bandwidth different from that of the narrow-band signal in the communication network. The signal having the bandwidth different from that of the narrow-band signal is transpositioned in narrow-bands (C', D') for delivering a transposed signal. The narrow-band signal and the transposed signal are combined, and the combined narrowband signal is output corresponding to the broadband signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for transmitting a broadband signal in a communication network (2) a method for receiving a broadband signal in a communication network (3) a device for receiving a broadband signal in a communication network (4) a computer program product for transmitting a broadband signal in a communication network.</p> |
