The present invention relates to a device for a compression test comprising: a test piece used to a compression test; a holder having an insertion port to insert the end of the test piece, and coming in contact with the outer surface of the end of the test piece inserted in the insertion port; a weight applying device coming in contact with the holder, and applying weight to the holder to compress the test piece; a holder guide having a guide groove to insert the holder, and guiding the holder compressed by the weight of the weight applying device along the guide groove; and a support for supporting the weight applied to the test piece from the weight applying device. Thus, the present invention provides the device for a compression test which does not affect the test piece since the test piece does not receive the weight directly using the holder, and which guides the breaking of the middle of the test piece by dispersing the weight applied to the test piece since the holder holds the test piece.
