摘要 The present invention relates to a battery management device and, more particularly, to a battery management device comprising n battery cells (where n is a natural number) connected in series and a voltage detection unit comparing the sum of voltages of first to k^th battery cells (where k is a natural number less than n) to the sum of voltages of the first to (k-1)^th battery cells and a reference voltage and calculating the voltage of the k^th battery cell. The present invention provides a device capable of accurately measuring the voltage of each battery cell even when the number of battery cells to be measured in the state that all grounds of the battery cells are connected in common increases and a device capable of correctly using a battery by preventing situations which can cause stability problems of the battery cells such as overvoltage and overcharge by the accurate voltage measurement of each battery cell.
