PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection system capable of suppressing occurrence of collision in connection request data to a provisional parent node and shortening the time before data transfer.SOLUTION: In a data collection system 1, a plurality of nodes 2 are multi-stage connected to configure a multi-hop network of a tree structure. The node 2 alternately performs data transmission processing as a child node and data reception processing as a parent node in time sharing. The node 2 receives a transmission completion flag from the child node when functioning as the parent node. If connection with the parent node is disconnected when the node 2 is functioning as the child node, the node 2 selects a provisional parent node as the substitute. The node 2 transmits connection request data to the provisional parent node if it has received not all transmission completion flags from the child node. The node 2 withholds transmission of the connection request data to the provisional parent node if it has received all transmission completion flags from the child node. |
