PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a monolithic refractory with excellent spalling resistance, for which alumina cement is used as binding material, without using special additive.SOLUTION: In a construction method including a series of processing lines comprising: kneading, casting, curing, drying, and heating of a monolithic refractory containing alumina cement, a curing process after the casting is performed at 35 to 80°C for not less than 24 hours persistently. This curing process for the monolithic refractory is performed in the atmosphere of saturated water vapor. |
