The seal test stand (1) has a measuring instrument (5) that is provided for measuring the torque by a retainer (4) on a seal portion (2). A calibration device (6) of measuring instrument is provided for determining reference torque (M0) of the retainer. A friction element (7) of the calibration device is provided in a defined range of the retainer. The friction element is acted indirectly or directly on a force measuring unit such that the applied force of the retainer to the friction element is measured, and is acted on a cylindrical external peripheral surface (9) of retainer.
