PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately installing a caisson in a predetermined position.SOLUTION: Water levels of all pits 22 are measured by a water-level gauge 20 installed for each pit 22 for pouring water into a new caisson 12. The distance and angle of the new caisson 12 are measured by two total stations 16, and the amount of inclination of the new caisson 12 is measured by a biaxial inclinometer 18. These measurement data are transmitted to a system control part 24 which is installed in an existing caisson 14. Information needed to perform the management of the pouring of the water into the new caisson 12 and information needed to guide the new caisson 12 to a predetermined position, which are based on the respective measurement data, are computed by the system control part 24. Thus, the new caisson 12 can be accurately installed in the predetermined position on the basis of the information updated in real time, by performing the management of the pouring of the water into the new caisson 12 and the guidance of the new caisson 12 while referring to these pieces of information. |
