PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted type microscope in which a body unit and an observation unit can be attached easily and highly accurately.SOLUTION: An inverted type microscope 1 for imaging observation light from a sample S comprises: a body unit 10 including a primary imaging optical system forming the observation light of the sample S into an intermediate mage P1; a mirror 221 configured to bend observation light; a relay optical system formed from a mirror 221 for bending observation light and a plurality of lenses configured to relay the intermediate image P1; an observation unit 20 freely attached to or detached from the body unit 10; and a cylindrical optical system held by the observation unit 20 and configured to image observation light passed through the relay optical system. |
