PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove ink deposited on a nozzle surface of an inkjet head and side surfaces adjacent to the nozzle surface without scratching the inkjet head.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a base A on which inkjet heads h1 and h5 are mounted while allowing lower ends h1a and h5a including nozzle surfaces h1b and h5b to project; a wiper unit W including a wiper blade B; and a moving mechanism of moving the wiper unit relatively to the inkjet heads to achieve wiping of the lower ends by the wiper blade. The wiper unit includes guiding members (guiding rollers R1 to R6) configured to come into contact with a lower surface A3 and one side surface A1 of the base, hold the wiper blade in a wiping position with reference to the lower ends and guide the movement thereof. The wiper blade is formed to have a shape to wipe the nozzle surfaces at the lower ends and side surfaces h1c and h5c adjacent to the nozzle surfaces while keeping a gap from the nozzle surfaces and the side surfaces in the wiping position. |
