PURPOSE: A bead former unit for manufacturing the semi-finished product of a tire is provided to secure the uniform roundness of a naked bead through an electromagnet and a vacuum hole, to contribute to stabilize the arrangement of the naked beads, and to detachably attach the naked beads to the surface of a former frame easily. CONSTITUTION: A bead former unit for manufacturing the semi-finished product of a tire includes a main body (1), a former shaft (3), and a circular former frame (4). The former frame at the former shaft of the main body rotates with the former shaft, and feeds beads (100) with an on-line method so that the beads are spirally arranged. Electromagnets and vacuum holes are arranged on the bead mounting surface (4a) of the former frame at equal angles. A bead guide member (7) for guiding beads wound on the bead mounting surface comprises a support, an upper and a lower slide plate, cylinders (11), link bars (13), and guide plates (14). The support is mounted on an installation hole (8) at the end of the former shaft. The slide plates reciprocate along the support. The cylinders are respectively hinged at the slide plates. The link bar is connected to the end of the cylinder with a connecting pin. The guide plate presses the spiral beads wound on the bead mounting surface connected to the link bar. |
