The object of the invention is a method for producing PUR integral foam with a modified structure, in the course of which the components forming the PUR foam are mixed together and cross-linked in a tool. The method is based on that along at least a first surface region of the internal surface of the tool a temperature is ensured to enable the formation of an integral skin layer, and along at least a second surface region a temperature is ensured to prevent the formation of an integral skin layer. A further object of the invention is a PUR integral foam with a modified structure, which has an internal foam structure and is based on that on at least one first surface region of the foam structure an integral skin layer is created, and at least one second surface region is free of an integral skin layer.
