PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device capable of making generation of erroneous operation of a shift lever hard and capable of securing operatability of lever operation.SOLUTION: A shift lever device 1 can operate a shift lever 3 from "a neutral postion" to "a D position, "an R position", and "an N position and is a momentary system in which the shift lever 3 returns to "the neutral position" for oneself after operating the lever. The shift lever device 1 is a shift by wire system outputting the operating position of the detected shift lever 3 to a transmission 6 by electric signals. Operation from the neutral position to a drive system positions (the D position, the R position) and operation from the neutral position to non-drive position (the N position) are sorted as operation passages different from each other. The directions of first operation are common in an operation from the neutral position to the D position and an operation from the neutral position to the R position. |
