PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which activates an application, which a user desires to use, in a short time.SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a housing; an input part; an authentication part conducting the authentication of a subject on the basis of an operations that is input into the input part; and a posture detection part detecting posture of the housing. When the authentication of the user is successfully completed in the authentication part, the portable terminal activates an application corresponding to the housing posture detected by the posture detection part. |
