ATTACHMENT FOR A CONTACT GLASS AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR A CONTACT GLASS SYSTEM

The present invention relates to opthalmological contact glasses which are used for the diagnosis or treatment of eyes, particularly in connection with temperature-regulated therapeutic lasers. The invention further relates to a production method in particular for an opto-acoustic contact glass system consisting in particular of an opto-acoustic contact glass and an attachment according to the invention. Contact glasses must normally be at least partially produced from biocompatible materials and must be provided in a sterile and/or disinfected state. The biocompatibility requirement limits the material selection and the sterilisation requirement entails high expenditure and limits the service life of the contact glasses. According to the invention, an attachment to an opthalmological contact glass (particularly an opto-acoustic contact glass) is provided, with which sterilisation and/or disinfection of the entire contact glass is no longer necessary. Such an attachment can facilitate the handling and reusability of contact glasses and save on costs and/or time.
