PURPOSE: A packet processing device and a packet processing method thereof are provided to effectively use multiple processing units of a packet transferring device to improve the packet processing efficiency of the packet transferring device. CONSTITUTION: A packet processing method using a packet processing device comprises the steps of: (S110) confirming whether the received data packets are encoded or not, (S120) extracting hash values included in data packets, (S130) allocating data packets respectively corresponding to the extracted hash values to the queuing blocks, and (S140) allocating data packets to the responding queuing blocks.
