The device has a gas release aperture (2) arranged at an upper side of a container (1) e.g. wood barrel, and inside the container. A volume-variable blister (8) is connected with an outer side of the container over a supply line (9) and arranged in the container. A pourable medium e.g. air, is introduced into the blister through the supply line, so that the blister obtains a volume increase, by which gas present in a gas or air space (7) of the container is completely driven over the gas release aperture. The blister is manufactured from elastomeric material i.e. silicone. The container is designed as a wood barrel and a metal, glass ceramic tank. The blister is arranged in form of an inflatable balloon.
