<p>Nonwoven fabric with increased sound absorption properties, comprises a longitudinally directed or crosswise pre-consolidated synthetic fiber material with a surface weight output of 20-100 g/m 2>, preferably 30-80 g/m 2>, an equipment comprising an unexpanded micro hollow body (0.5-4 wt.%) as a filler, and a high molecular weight polyester material that is applied as a binder for fixing the micro hollow body to the nonwoven fibers, and dried for increasing the stiffness and tensile strength, which leads to expansion of the micro hollow body and sealing of the pores of the fabric. An independent claim is also included for producing the nonwoven fabric, comprising adding the unexpanded micro hollow bodies to the equipment in addition to binder, where depending on the proportion of the micro hollow body in the equipment, the micro hollow body expanding into spheres during the subsequent drying, seals the nonwoven pores.</p> |
