PURPOSE: A harvest time predicting method for rice, and an apparatus thereof are provided to predict a harvest time directly in the field. CONSTITUTION: A harvest time predicting method for rice comprises the following steps. A color detecting unit (100) calculates a leaf color of rice. A percentage of moisture content calculating unit (200) calculates a percentage of moisture content of rice by using the calculated leaf color. A harvest time predicting unit (300) calculates a harvest time of rice by using the calculated percentage of moisture content of rice. A storing unit (400) stores accumulated temperature.
