A disc brake pad (10) that can suppress the occurrence of partial wear with a simple structure is provided. A lining support portion (22) is provided with a base portion (23) that supports a lining member (21), and a load transfer portion (24a) that is provided integrated with or fixed to the base portion (23) and can transfer a load from a caliper body to the base portion (23). The load transfer portion (24a) is provided at a position on the base portion (23) at which a load that generates surface pressure, which is surface pressure generated between the lining member (21) and a frictional braking face (103a) when the lining member (21) is pressed against the frictional braking face (103a), can act on the base portion (23) in a manner such that the magnitude of the surface pressure is inversely proportional to the magnitude of the distance from the position of the rotational centerline of the disc in the radial direction of the disc. |
