PURPOSE: A blood glucose monitoring device having a user alarm function with a multi-color light emitting diode (LED) and a user alarm method are provided to enable a user to receive an analysis result for a blood glucose monitoring habit or a measured result through the multi-color LED, thereby enabling the user to recognize the analysis result by using the multi-color LED. CONSTITUTION: A blood glucose monitoring unit measures blood glucose from a blood sample. A storage unit stores a set of user information and a blood glucose value measured by the blood glucose monitoring unit. A display unit (110) displays the blood glucose value to a user. A multi-color LED display unit (130) displays a usage habit, a measurement value analysis result as colors by using a lot of information stored in the storage unit. A control unit controls the colors of the multi-color LED display unit to be combined based on the user information.
