PURPOSE: A device for providing a virtual golf game and a method thereof are provided to set the acquisition zone of a player and to determine the victory or defeat of the game according to the area of the acquisition zone. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing a virtual golf game comprises the following steps: providing at least one start zone to a game field; setting a virtual golf ball strike zone as a first start zone and generating a virtual line for connecting a virtual strike zone to a landing zone based on the strike information of a first virtual golf ball; setting a first acquisition zone by connecting the generated virtual line to the strike and landing zones and calculating the area of the first acquisition zone when the landing zone of the first virtual golf ball is included in the first start zone. |
