PURPOSE: An expansion joint device able to adjust a length of an anchor and an installing method thereof are provided to install an expansion joint device in an exact position because a cutting operation of a main reinforcing bar is not necessary in a process of mounting the expansion joint device between structures and additional reinforcing work is possible while the expansion joint device is temporarily fixed. CONSTITUTION: An installing method of an expansion joint device is composed like next. A pre-setting device(200) and an expansion joint device(100) are joined. The pre-setting device is fixed by being contacted in the upper part of the expansion joint device and vertically extended to a longitudinal direction of the expansion joint device. A position of the anchor is selectively controlled according to an interference between a plurality of anchors(140) and main reinforcing bar. The plurality of anchors is formed in the expansion joint device. The main reinforcing bar is extended from structures. The expansion joint device joined to the pre-setting device is temporarily fixed between a pair of the structures by hanging both end parts of the pre-setting device in each upper part of the pair of the structures. The expansion joint device temporarily fixed is fixed between the pair of the structures and the pre-setting device is eliminated. |
