PURPOSE: A rudder for a ship, a control method thereof, and a ship with the rudder are provided to increase the rotatable steering performance of a ship since lift in the leading edge of a rudder blade is increased by increasing pressure differences between a pressure surface and a suction surface of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: A rudder for a ship comprises a rudder blade(30) and a fluid forced-sending device. The rudder blade is rotatably installed in a hull. At least one opening is formed in both sides of the rudder blade at the front of a rotational center thereof. When the rudder blade is rotated to a port or a starboard, the fluid forced-sending device draws in fluid from an opening of a suction surface of the rudder blade and discharges the fluid to an opening of a pressure surface. |
