The device has a case (11) housing a lock (12) and a reversing lever (13). The case is fixed on an inner face of a lateral wall (21) of a cable box (3). The lock cooperates with a door (4) and a door locking rod (17) controlled by a shaft (7) of a grounding device, so that the control of the grounding of cables drives the unlocking of the door. The lever cooperates with the door and a selector locking rod (24), so as to prevent movement of a selector (8) toward a position allowing opening or closing of a switching device i.e. switch, of an electric cell, when the door is not closed.
