PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an effect of increasing the amount of back spin and effect of suppressing the reduction of the amount of back spin, owing to grooves finer than scorelines.SOLUTION: A method is provided for forming fine grooves with a width narrower than that of scorelines in a golf club head. The method includes: a first step of forming a base groove as a base of the fine grooves on a face surface; and a second step of forming a recess in at least one sidewall of the base groove to further reduce the angle between the one sidewall and the face surface. |
