PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire superior in weight reduction by adopting a divided carcass type, and superior in durability performance, which is apt to deteriorate in a divided carcass type tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes: a pair of a right and a left bead parts; side wall parts continued to the bead parts; and a tread part connecting the side wall parts to each other; at least one carcass layer, at least two layers of belt layers are disposed to cross the outer periphery of a carcass layer in the tread part, and the carcass layer is divided in a central region of the tread part. The pneumatic tire is configured to satisfy following requisites (a) and (b). (a) An end E1 of the divided carcass layer on the outer side in the tire radial direction is sandwiched between the two layers of the belt layer. (b) Total width W1 of the belt layer in the tire cross direction on the inner side of the belt layer in the tire radial direction is structured narrower than the total width W2 of the belt layer in the tire cross direction on the outer side in the tire radial direction. |
