PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape connecting device capable of performing sure and strong connection, by easily and surely sticking a pressure sensitive adhesive tape from both surfaces of the obverse-reverse, in a connecting part including mutual end parts of a butted carrier tape.SOLUTION: A carrier tape connecting device includes a sticking table 22 for placing and holding a carrier tape of butting mutual end parts in a positioned state, and a sticking mechanism 23 for pressing a pressure sensitive adhesive tape wider than the carrier tape placed in a connecting place of the carrier tape held by the sticking table 22 to a surface of the carrier tape and pressing the pressure sensitive adhesive tape protruded from the carrier tape to a carrier tape reverse surface by folding back along the side edge of the carrier tape. |
