PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container feeding apparatus having means capable of quickly and accurately identifying an individual reagent container, and to provide an automatic analyzer including the container feeding apparatus.SOLUTION: The container feeding apparatus includes: a container tray 20 to which a second identification code 23 is attached to place a reagent container 10 to which a first identification code is attached; a movable container holder 35 capable of conveying the regent container to a feeding destination; holding/conveying means 32 capable of holding the reagent container placed on the container tray and placing the reagent container on the movable container holder; identification code reading means 33; and a container detection part 34. The container feeding apparatus selects a reagent container on the basis of the information of the second identification code and the installation information of the reagent container read out by the container detection part, places the selected reagent container in the movable container holder, reads out the first identification code attached to the placed reagent container, and when the information of both codes is correspondence relation as a result of collating the information of the first identification code with the information of the second identification code, allows the movable container holder to convey the reagent container to the feeding destination. |
