PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a password from being identified even when a third person sees the input screen or the operation hand, without increasing time for inputting the password.SOLUTION: A password input device 100 comprises: a password storage unit 130 for storing a password element and attribute information of the password element; a key creation unit 151 for creating a plurality of keys for inputting a password by combining a plurality of elements of different attributes including the password element; a display control unit 152 for arranging the created keys on an operation screen: a key information storage unit 140 for storing elements for each key and attribute information of the elements in association with position information of each key arranged on the operation screen; a password identification unit 153 for identifying elements input by a user by using the key information storage unit 140, on the basis of the position information of the key selected by the user and the attribute information of the password element stored in the password storage unit 130; and an authentication unit 154 for performing user authentication by using the identified password. |
