A fuel cell system for supplying power to a camping trailer and a method thereof are disclosed. The fuel cell system for supplying power to a camping trailer according to the present invention includes a secondary battery which outputs DC power for driving various kinds of electric devices inside the camping trailer; a fuel cell which supplies DC power to the secondary battery; and a control unit which controls the fuel battery to charge the secondary battery according to a measurement result by measuring the state of charge (SOC) of the secondary battery.
