PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer canvas for papermaking having enhanced cushioning property on a paper contacting surface side without an increase in thickness so much.SOLUTION: A dryer canvas (10) for papermaking is provided by weaving a weft (2) on a paper contacting surface, a weft (3) in an intermediate layer, and a weft (4) on a machine surface side by using a warp (1). The weft (2) on the paper contacting side is a spun yarn or multifilament yarn, the weft (4) on the machine surface side and the weft (3) in the intermediate layer are a monofilament yarn, and the warp (1) is a monofilament yarn. When viewed from the vertical cross section, the warp (1) includes: a portion crossing the weft (2) on the paper contacting side and folded; a portion crossing the weft (4) on the machine surface side and folded; and a portion crossing the weft (3) on the intermediate layer side and folded to the machine surface side. |
